JOB SUMMARY: The Analyst is responsible for using quantitative methods. Analysts will work closely with managers on all aspects of project work including preparation of data (internal and syndicated sources), model development, interpretation of model results, and building client presentations JOB SPECIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without accommodation. Collect, organize and track data inputs. Run statistical models with minimal supervision. (Modeling). Validate model results both statistical and face validity checks. Manipulate model outputs and prepare client presentations for manager review. Making templates and customized charts; contribute to findings and recommendations. Be able to explain capabilities and results informally to clients. Participate/Lead internal meetings providing project support. Create and transform variables for input into models. Prepare non-standard data sources. Specify Multivariate Models including OLS Regression using SPSS. Interpret findings and draw conclusions from model results. Compute Return on Investment and other key metrics. Build client presentations. Simulate what-if scenarios and volume forecasts. Client service responsibilities as industry knowledge is developed. Develop a solid understanding of the consumer packaged goods industry. Functional Knowledge - Understanding of methodology behind all key Custom Analytic service areas. Understand project process, from internal to external application of results. Clearly communicate appropriate project design to address client objectives Other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification requirement may be waived with verifiable on-the-job training and experience. Possess understanding of statistics. Understand conceptual & practical marketing and business operations. Enthusiasm for learning the practical application of statistical analysis to address business issues. Detail oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication skills. Must be able to effectively manage time and a variety of responsibilities. MS Office proficiency required. SPSS / SAS skills preferred. 0-2 years of marketing research experience. New program graduates will be considered. HOURS: Full-time |
